Product Specialist

  Central Malta

Our client who specialises in the distribution and pharmaceuticals industry is looking for a Product Specialist. Your roles and responsibilities will include: 

  • Reviewing and submitting of tendering applications for pharmaceutical and medical devices
  • Managing the launch of new products
  • Conducting market research and analyzing industry trends
  • Scheduling meetings with potential and existing customers, which includes doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and other health care professionals
  • Presenting company products to potential and existing customers and persuading them to make purchases, along with communicating insights to internal partners
  • Preparing sales reports and territory analyses and promptly submitting purchase orders to the relevant department
  • Identifying customers' needs and recommending company products that best fulfill those needs
  • Identifying new opportunities to increase product sales, investigating and resolving customer complaints, and strategically negotiating the terms of sale with customers to close sales
  • Maintaining solid working relationships with new and existing customers by providing excellent after-sales service
  • Regularly attending industry events, training, company meetings, briefings, and educational workshops

Requirements

  • Communication in English and Maltese
  • Strong ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally within a matrix environment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Exceptional customer service skills

Education and Experience

  • Scienctific or cinical background is a must
