International Business Development Manager

  Central Malta  |  €35,000 - €45,000 Annually 

We are seeking a forward-thinking and exceptionally strategic individual to take on the role of bridging connections among our clients various companies, markets, and brands. The objective of this position is to harness synergies, enhance opportunities for products across different companies, and lead the way in export initiatives. As the International Business Development Manager your responsibilities include but not limiteds to: 

  • Identify and facilitate opportunities to harmonize products effectively across our group of companies.
  • Investigate, develop, and seize chances to market our products internationally in various markets.
  • Collaborate closely with brand managers, sales, procurement, and marketing teams throughout the Group to maintain brand uniformity and optimize sales potential.
  • Consistently monitor industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive environments to propose strategic directions and new product introductions for the entire group.
  • While not the primary focus, you will occasionally be required to assist our retail operations team in various capacities, ensuring a seamless brand experience for our customers and partners.
  • Regularly provide insights and reports on potential brand integrations, sales opportunities, and market trends that can benefit the entire group.

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with travelling regularly
  • Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in French and/or Arabic being a strong advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proficiency in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong project management, budget management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using modern business tools and software for analysis and reporting.

Education & Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an asset.
  • 5 years of experience within the FMCG industry.
