Chief Commercial Officer

€100,000 - €120,000  |  Malta

Our client, a leading player within the Entertainment and Services industry, is currently recruiting for a Chief Commercial Officer.

The company grows revenues and profits consistently and within this job, the successful candidate is expected to demonstrate strong business development skills to contribute to the commercial success of the organization. Whilst reporting directly to the CEO, you will be mainly responsible for:

  • Developing a commercial strategy supporting the organization's objectives
  • Delivering strategic leadership for defining the commercial path to growth and profitability of the business
  • Driving tactical and strategic initiatives whilst acting as a supporting arm to senior management
  • Supporting the translation of commercial and business development opportunities into revenue generating activities 
  • Presenting and obtaining commitment and sign-off for new initiatives from stakeholders - CEO & BOD
  • Negotiating major project deals and overseeing projects from site identification to construction, renovation and contractor, supplier and franchisees' management 
  • Building networks across the industry leaders internationally to ensure thought leadership, innovation and international bench-marking
  • Catalyzing the development of a strong internal talent pipeline in support of the business growth
  • Managing key capital projects whilst reviewing and evaluating performance, risks and benefits 
  • Assessing, building and managing an array of necessary channels capable of delivering on the organization's growth objectives 

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in operations, project management and business leadership, ideally within real estate or property development
  • Fluency in English
  • Solid experience with managing a service operation
  • Strong track record in leading people in a team-based and consultative environment
  • Sound business and financial acumen, coupled with project management expertise

Education & Experience

  • A Degree and/or Masters in Business Administration, Management or equivalent 
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office applications
