Business Development Manager

€25,000 - €30,000  |  Malta

In the role of a Business Development Manager, you will be reporting to the Chief Operations Officer and your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing the fundraising budget and make any necessary improvements and adjustments
  • Planning, developing, implementing and maintaining new social enterprises that generate surplus
  • Setting and reaching projected profits and increasing income from existing social enterprise units
  • Managing the day to day operations of all activities associated with stock control, logistics, warehousing, cash security, and commercial facilities
  • Planning and implementing advertising and promotional strategies and activities together with the Marketing team 
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports on sales, profit and loss, footfall, customer analysis and other ad hoc KPIs
  • Continuously developing knowledge and information on competitor activity, pricing, and tactics


Education and Experience

This vacancy requires:

  • Tertiary education in Business, Management, Marketing or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a managerial position
  • Experience in budget management and business development
  • Excellent level of English, Maltese would be preferred
