Business Development Manager (Logistics, Supply Chain & Warehousing)

  Central Malta  |  €60,000 - €70,000  

Our client is part of a well established Group of companies.  As they are growing, they would like to engage a Business Development Manager to join their Logistics and Supply Chain arm of the group

The Role

  • You will need to have comprehensive experience in Logistics and Supply Chain (and warehousing) especially in oil and gas, &/or aerospace &/or project cargo and use it to seek new business revenue streams and clients locally and abroad
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis to seek potential clients, market trends and potential markets
  • Develop sales strategies to ensure that the necessary to achieve agreed revenue targets and create/maintain the necessary client relationships
  • You will collaborate with other areas within the group to ensure the best operation possible
  • You will ensure that you work hand in hand with the directors to achieve the agreed goals

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • You will have proven experience in Logistics, Supply Chain & Warehousing
  • You will have a flair for Sales and Business Development
  • You have a flair at creating excellent relationships
  • Have a track record of successful project cargo, aerospace, and oil & gas industry engagements. Have extensive understanding for all modes of transport
  • Having Business Development experience especially in the Logistics field will be considered a strong asset
  • Have strong communication skills

Education & Experience

Having a degree in logistics/transportation will be considered as a strong asset
