Assistant Shop Manager (Retail)

  Central Malta  |  €20,000 - €22,000 Annually 

An established client of ours operating within the Retail industry, is searching for an Assistant Shop Manager to join the franchise at one of their biggest stores. As an Assistant Shop Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in Daily Operations: Provide support in managing the day-to-day activities of the store, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Help in tracking, ordering, and organizing inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained and aligned with store needs.
  • Sales and Marketing Support: Assist in implementing sales strategies and marketing campaigns to boost store performance and customer engagement.
  • Staff Coordination: Support the Shop Manager in scheduling, training, and supervising staff, maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  • Customer Relations: Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing high-quality service and fostering customer loyalty.

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Candidates must be based in Malta
  • Candidates must be able to work on roster basis from Monday to Saturday, including Sundays and Public Holidays on over-time at peak season
  • Excellent command in English and Maltese
  • Candidates must be responsible, mature, independent and eager to advance

Education & Experience

  • A Level Standard of Education
  • Prior experience within the retail industry is a must
