Risk and Compliance Manager

Malta

Reporting directly to the Chief Officer - Risk and Compliance, the chosen candidate will be responsible for:

  • The designing and implementation of risk management processes and tools to identify, manage and report risks
  • Supporting the development and strengthening of the banks internal control system and overarching risk management frameworks
  • Maintaining the bank's risk register and holding RCSA sessions within various departments
  • Coordinating, compiling and/or updating of statutory returns as well as the banks suite of risk and compliance related documents such as relevant policies and procedures, ICAAP and ILAAP reports
  • Overseeing adherence of policies, procedures and day to day operations to applicable regulatory requirements
  • Working closely with the bank's MLRO
  • Monitoring compliance of the bank's AMF/CFT activities

Education and Experience:

  • Tertiary level of education in Banking and Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • A good understanding of CRR, CRDIV and AML/CFT obligations
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office

Skills:  

  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Proactive
  • Ability to work under pressure, with minimum supervision
