Our bespoke software client is recruiting an experienced Automated QA Engineer to join their growing team. You will use your skills to add to the clients' ever-growing businesses. Your responsibilities:
- Integrate into a development team and take up the QA responsibility for all the work delivered by that team.
- Design automated test scripts and execute them against ongoing sprint work.
- Ensure that all the deliverables of the sprint are robust and production ready.
This role is ideal for someone experienced in test automation using Specflow, Gherkin, and Selenium tools with C# and already based in Malta or in the EU.
Skill-sets and Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as an automated QA engineer on a web-based product, ideally built on the Microsoft stack.
- REST API knowledge.
- Basic experience with database technologies (MSSQL Server).
- Ability to design and execute test scripts based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Familiarity with agile development methodology and has experience working in such an environment.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and GIT considered an asset.
- Experience with Kubernetes and basic knowledge of Docker and experience with microservice architecture are considered assets.
Education & Experience
BSc degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
