Our client, a Property Development and Management company, is recruiting for a Project Assistant to join their growing team. In this role, you will be reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and your duties will include;
- Coordinating any maintenance requirements for properties which are leased or held as investments;
- Maintaining check lists for property projects, including data relating to project timelines, contractors etc;
- Assisting the Property Administrator in administrative tasks related to property developments including liaison with Planning Authority, Local Councils, Project Architects, obtaining quotes, amongst others;
- Liaison with the Contractor to ensure productivity and that construction timeframes are being met;
- Work closely with the Project Manager on various property sites as may be deemed necessary;
- Supervising project progress to ensure that issues and challenges are identified and resolved;
- Keeping proper records of expenditure and project related documentation.
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Well organised
- Conversant with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to speak, read and write Maltese and English fluently
- Diligent in handling allocated tasks
- Works professionally with all stakeholders and communicates clearly at all levels
- Based in Malta and holding a valid driving license
Education & Experience
Previous experience working in Property / Construction, preferably having held a hands-on position whereby one would be able to understand the technicalities, is desired
