Operations and Restaurant Manager

Malta  |  €30,000 - €35,000 

Our client, who is involved in the running of a restaurant and some confectionaries, is currently looking for an Operations and Restaurant Manager. The responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and optimizing front-and back-of-house restaurant and confectionery operations
  • Controlling operational costs and promoting efficiency
  • Maintaining the restaurant’s and outlet's revenue, profitability and quality goals.
  • Recruiting, training and supervising staff
  • Managing the staff rota
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing, health and safety regulations
  • Dealing with customer inquiries and complaints
  • Fostering positive customer relations
  • Monitoring product quality, handling vendors, keeping abreast of inventory and ordering supplies
  • Analysing food and beverage performance with regards to daily food covers, sales and cost reports
  • Efficient operation of the POS systems

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working within Operations and/or Restaurant Management
  • Fluency in English is a must. Knowledge of Maltese is a strong asset.
  • Sound knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent customer service and organization skills

Education & Experience

A level standard of education is preferred
