Our client, operating within the retail industry is seeking to recruit a floor manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for;
Supervising and delegating responsibilities to employees
Hiring and training employees
Conducting employee performance reviews
Attending to and resolving complaints and conflicts from customers and employees
Monitoring labour costs
Setting targets for the team
Placing of products
Ensuring a smooth running shift, whilst adhering to company policies and procedures
Skill-sets and Requirements
Strong leadership, motivation, and people skills.
Be a good communicator, a good listener, and possesses assertiveness skills.
Can work under pressure and be results-oriented.
Experience in a managerial position will be considered an asset.
Able to work weekends and public holidays.
Excellent communications skills in English. Candidates with knowledge of additional languages, especially Maltese, will be given preference.
Education & Experience
An educational background, or proven experience working in the horticultural industry will be considered an asset
