Technical Sales Person

  Central Malta  |  €25,000 - €30,000 Annually 

A client of ours is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Person to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying customer needs, providing tailored solutions, and driving sales growth in smart home systems, including lighting, security, energy management, and entertainment automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with potential customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate home automation solutions.
  • Explain product functionality, benefits, and capabilities.
  • Offer in-home or virtual consultations to assess customer requirements.
  • Provide detailed quotations and proposals based on customer specifications.
  • Manage customer orders and expectations throughout the process.
  • Follow up with customers post-installation to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in smart home technology.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of product features, installation processes, and integration with other systems.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors to increase sales opportunities.
  • Participate in networking events, trade shows, and other industry-related functions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and product installations.
  • Provide regular sales reports to the management team.
  • Work closely with the installation and support teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English is a must; Maltese preferred
  • High level of professionalism and customer service focus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology and product updates.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience

  • A Level Standard of Education
  • Prior sales experience is a must
  • In addition to the above, experience or keen interest in technology or electronics is a huge asset
  • Basic proficiency in ACad is highly desired
  • Knowledge and/or prior experience in Building Management Systems or home automation is highly desired
