Marketing Manager (Telecoms)

In this job you will develop and drive the implementation of marketing strategy of a portfolio products within the fixed services segment. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying market needs in order to drive strategy
  • Monitoring the market, identifying key competitors and performing ongoing competitive benchmarking
  • Understanding consumer trends and the company’s brand positioning
  • Measuring product results in terms of ROI and customer take-up on a monthly basis against KPI’s and targets
  • Collaborate with team members and key stakeholders in order to create innovative and new products
  • Taking products through the company’s Product Development process
  • Working closely with the Sales Team to ensure that they have the full knowledge of products being offered
  • Ensuring optimal take-up and retention levels
  • Defining and diving CRM activities in order to increase customer takeup and ARPU across all channels

Education & Experience

The vacancy requires a:

  • Tertiary level of Education in Commercial, Marketing, Economics of related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial position
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the ICT or telecoms industry
  • Strong knowledge of product development lifecycles


  • Analytical attributes coupled with a commercially astute personality
  • High levels of conscientiousness and analytical attributes coupled with a commercially astute personality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be creative, dynamic, result-oriented and a good team player
  • Ability to work in a highly driven environment
