KONNEKT is currently looking for a passionate, energetic and meticulous individual to join the marketing team as a Digital Marketing Executive.
Digital Marketing Executive
In this role you will be involved in maintaining the brand’s multi-channel communication strategies and outreach initiatives by:
Coordinate and implement marketing activities and projects from planning to delivery, which may include: writing and proofreading copies, liaising with designers and printers, organising photo shoots, coordinating with media outlets
Managing and updating the brand’s social media platforms including messaging, posting and updating all channels
Actively participate towards increasing online presence and engagement, by suggesting initiatives for online media and website
Identifying and monitoring new channels for lead generation
Managing advertising campaigns from concept through to implementation, including producing performance reports for campaigns and recommendations for improvements
Managing a content calendar and focusing on SEO initiatives, PR and content development, publishing and sharing
Work independently on special marketing & PR projects according to agreed timelines.
Plan and project manage marketing events and fairs in collaboration with respective parties involved.
Actively participate in branding initiatives for the relevant brands
Perform administrative tasks in relation to marketing operations
Education & Experience
The ideal candidate will have a:
Tertiary level qualification in marketing, communications, design, creative arts or equivalent.
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally gained in a fast-paced work environment.
General IT savvy and capability to manage complex projects
Capable of consistently managing multiple projects
Ability to work with CMS systems
Excellent understanding of social media platforms and their use as advertising channels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluency in English
Strong planning and project management skills
Knowledge of digital marketing and eCommerce
Good understanding of SEO best practice
Attention to detail and ability to effectively collaborate on projects with people inside and outside of the organisations
Proven track record of creative and design flair
Basic knowledge of HTML5 and CSS Editors, and Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) would be an asset
