In this Cellar Events Coordinator role, you will be responsible for the operations of the company’s winery cellar and wine portfolio. Reporting directly to the CEO, your duties will include;
- Taking in bookings and reservations from private individuals as well as groups, and managing the overall calendar of the winery cellar
- Ensure the smooth day to day running, upkeep and operations of the winery cellar
- Welcoming private individuals and groups and hosting them throughout their visit
- Assisting guests with wine tours and tasting education and purchases throughout each tour
- Building, maintaining and expanding positive customer relations
- Representing the company and brand in a positive manner
- Planning and organizing of separate and/or private events held within the winery cellar
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Excellent communication and people skills are must whilst the ability to speak publicly and effectively before groups is a big plus
- Have a flair for customer service with desire to create a memorable guest experience
- Excellent command of both English and Maltese languages
Education & Experience
- WSET Certified or other relevant qualification
- Previous experience within event functions is a must whilst experiences in FMCG-related functions would be ideal
