Operations Manager - Administration Back Office

Malta

A new position of an Operations Manager focusing on Back Office Administration within the finance world is now available following growth within the institution.  Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Ensuring an efficient and effective delivery of daily operations
  • Manage the loan administration function, credit control & risk exposure
  • Overlook that the operations manuals & procedures are adhered by
  • Implement new and improved processes focused on automation and efficiency
  • Review of internal audit and quality assurance reports
  • Ensuring compliance and implementation of audit findings
  • Create metrics / KPIs on all operational tasks focused on efficient delivery of service
  • Manage projects on time meeting budgets and quality standards set by the company
  • Managing a team:  leading, guiding and supporting as needed


Education & Experience

  • A Degree level of Education is preferred, however, experience candidates with Banking, Finance and/or Management will still be considered
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in operations within a bank or financial institution is required
  • Experience managing back office operations within a bank or financial institution is seen as a preferred plus
  • Professional level of English is a definite, with knowledge of Maltese and other languages considered an asset
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office
  • A good background in Accounts needed
  • Currently living in Malta
