Our clients are looking for a motivated and hardworking Machine Operator Helper to support our stone production team. In this vital role, you will assist our 5-Axis Machine Operators by prepping raw materials, handling heavy stone slabs, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring a smooth workflow.
Duties and responsibilities are but not limited to:
Assist Machine Operators with setting up, cleaning, and preparing machinery before and after production cycles.
Feed, load, and position raw marble, granite, and stone slabs onto semi-automated cutting and CNC machines using vacuum lifts, cranes, or forklifts.
Safely unload, stack, and move finished or semi-finished products to the next production station or storage area.
Manually assist in basic stone handling.
Perform visual checks on raw materials for visible cracks or defects.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop floor by clearing stone debris.
Help maintain basic activity logs and track material moving through the workshop.
Strictly follow all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a factory, construction, or manufacturing environment is preferred, but on-the-job training will be provided.
High physical stamina and strength (ability to lift and maneuver heavy loads safely).
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a willingness to follow directions precisely.
Attention to detail to spot visible defects in valuable stone materials.
