Tax & Corporate Lawyer

Malta

One of our clients, a multidisciplinary firm are looking to recruit Lawyers into their Tax and Corporate team.  They are open to considering profiles both with relevant experience in this specific field and also newly qualified lawyers with an interest in specialising in the areas of tax and corporate law.  Working with a broad spectrum of clients the successful applicant(s) would be involved in company formations, restructurings, mergers and tax rulings whilst remaining solutions focused on behalf of clients.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in corporate restructuring and company formation
  • Advise on tax and company law issues.
  • Assist with tax rulings and submissions to tax authorities
  • Provide transactional support from a tax and corporate perspective

Education and Experience:  

  • The minimum expectation is that applicants are recent law graduates from the University of Malta
  • The client are also happy to consider qualified lawyers, warranted under Maltese law with up to three years of relevant post qualification experience.  

Skills:  

  • Fluency in English and Maltese is an essential requirement for the role,  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management
  • Good presentation skills
