A client of ours specialising in the iGaming sector is actively seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their team of professionals, to assist Management and ensure full and overall adherence to legal compliance in all areas of the business:
Duties:
- Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations
- Give accurate and timely counsel to management executives on a variety of legal topics (labour law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance, and the likes of)
- Provide clarification on legal language or specifications as required
- Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights are aligned
- Presentation of legal issues to management executives together with analysis, options and recommendations
- Co-operate with external legal counsels on crucial issues and complaints of the Company, as well as monitor their activities, including Court representation where required
- Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation
- Any other ad-hoc duties that may be required from time to time to fulfil the business needs
Skill-sets and Requirements
- At least 5 years' experience working as a lawyer, including in litigation
- Must have an excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Excellent analytical skills with the capacity of identifying all risks and proactively choosing the best solutions
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Education & Experience
Must be locally warranted and in possession of a Doctorate of Laws or a Legal Degree
