Senior Legal Counsel

​A client of ours specialising in the iGaming sector is actively seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their team of professionals, to assist Management and ensure full and overall adherence to legal compliance in all areas of the business:

Duties:

• Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations
• Give accurate and timely counsel to management executives on a variety of legal topics (labour law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance, and the likes of)
• Provide clarification on legal language or specifications as required
• Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights are aligned
• Presentation of legal issues to management executives together with analysis, options and recommendations
• Co-operate with external legal counsels on crucial issues and complaints of the Company, as well as monitor their activities, including Court representation where required
• Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation
• Any other ad-hoc duties that may be required from time to time to fulfil the business needs

Skill-sets and Requirements

• At least 5 years' experience working as a lawyer, including in litigation
• Must have an excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Excellent analytical skills with the capacity of identifying all risks and proactively choosing the best solutions
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Education & Experience

Must be locally warranted and in possession of a Doctorate of Laws or a Legal Degree
