Litigation lawyer


Our client, a leading law firm in Malta, is seeking to recruit a Litigation lawyer to join their legal team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Participating in civil and commercial law disputes as well as representing clients before the Maltese Courts and Arbitration Tribunal
  • Providing legal advice to clients of the firm especially on aspects of real estate, construction, employment, civil and commercial law
  • Assisting with drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements
  • Assisting with drafting and reviewing of employment contracts, settlement and termination agreements, share incentive agreements, posting arrangements, and non-disclosure/non-compete agreements
  • Providing legal services in relation to high profile transactions for developers, contractors, subcontractors and leading consultants both locally and internationally
  • Assisting with the drafting and reviewing and providing advice on promise of sale agreements, contracts of sale or lease agreements

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Minimum three years experience working in a similar role
  • Warranted under the Maltese law
  • Previously acted on behalf of clients before the Maltese courts
  • Excellent understanding of Maltese Civil, Commercial and Employment Law
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Maltese and English
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Education & Experience

Fully qualified and locally warranted lawyer
