Our client is looking to recruit for a Legal Officer vacancy in Malta. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the different departments with all legal matters
- Drafting of agreements, licences, terms and conditions, and group policies in a timely manner
- Providing legal advice to the different departments on compliance and regulatory requirements, followed by a proposed legal course of action
- Assisting with advice on disputes when the need arises
- Providing regular and ongoing progress reports and presentations to senior management as required
- Conducting research about legislation and keeping oneself updated
- Preparing periodic risk assessments ensuring that the company is prepared for any regulatory challenges
Education and Experience:
- Must be a qualified Lawyer
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
- Fluent in written and verbal English
Desired skills:
- Excellent communication skills and time-management
- Proficient writing skills
- Strong presentation skills are a requirement
