Legal Counsel

Our client is looking to Recruit a Legal Counsel to join their growing team Reporting to the Legal and Compliance Director, the ideal candidate will be responsible for:

 

Responsibilities:

• Draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts and agreements.
• Provide advice on various commercial matters, including intellectual property, technology, and internal/service contracts.
• Support and advise other departments as needed.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and maintain regulatory relations.
• Identify legal issues, assess legal risks, and contribute to the development and implementation of solutions.
• Assist in establishing a scalable foundation for the legal team, including creating templates and streamlining processes.
• Coordinate with external advisors and regulatory authorities.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on regulatory changes.
• Maintain records of group policies and procedures, both internally and with relevant regulatory authorities.
• Provide administrative support to the legal team as necessary.
• Perform other responsibilities assigned by management.

Skill-sets and Requirements

• Experience in a similar, contracts-focused role in the iGaming industry
• Experience with Privacy and GDPR would be considered an asset
• Strong knowledge and understanding of online gaming legislation and industry best practices
• Clear communicator, fluent in English.
