Our client is a well-respected Accounting and Audit firm in Malta. They are currently looking to recruit a Lawyer specializing in Corporate and Commercial to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the client onboarding and screening process and in the process of acceptance of new clients.
- Data input and maintenance of updated information.
- Collaborate with the compliance team for specific and technical support.
- Handle legal and corporate matters for clients and their business
- Provide advice and business expertise to clients on areas on commercial, corporate, IP, tax, employment law etc as may be required
- Support clients in applications with banks, regulatory and governmental organisations and other parties.
- Be responsible that any legal obligations and statutory filings are submitted in due time.
- Assisting in the formation and restructuring of legal entities.
- Handle legal and corporate matters for clients and their business
- Liaising with authorities and other professional services firms to support clients in their operations.
- Proactively keeping up to date with legal developments in legislation and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Skill-sets and Requirements
A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role
Education & Experience
Masters in Advocacy
