One of our clients, a multidisciplinary law firm are currently looking to recruit motivated lawyers with specific interest in either corporate and commercial law or financial services.  Within the corporate and commercial law team the engagements will include, asset and corporate finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions and corporate and commercial advisory and litigation. Within the financial services law team the role would focus more on advising clients in respect of corporate, banking, finance and transactional matters.assisting with the setting up,licensing and on-going compliance obligations of regulated entities and guiding entities active in or accessing the capital markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting clients with the provision of legal assistance and advice
  • Researching and drafting of legal documents
  • Supporting the overall legal team
  • Attending court and tribunal sittings

Education and Experience:

  • A qualified and warranted lawyer 
  • A Masters in Law degree in a related area would be considered an asset.
  • Candidates with three years of post qualification experience will be considered favourably

Skills:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Maltese is essential
  • A positive attitude
  • Confident communicator
  • The ability to work well under pressure
