Our clients, a leading law firm in Malta, is looking to recruit a Lawyer to join their team of growing professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Take an active participation in handling complex disputes across various industries including civil and commercial law disputes as well as representing clients before the Maltese Courts
- Negotiating in civil and commercial law disputes
- Providing legal advice to clients of the firm on aspects of civil and commercial law
- Drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements
- Liaise with professional advisors and regulatory bodies
- Conduct legal research on various aspects of law providing consolidated legal opinions
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years previous experience within a similar position
- Warranted under Maltese Law
- Excellent understanding of Maltese Civil and Commercial Law
- Previously acted on behalf on clients before the Maltese Courts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Maltese and English
Education & Experience
Holds a Law Degree from the University of Malta (Degree in Law or Masters of Advocacy)
