Lawyer (Development and Construction)

Malta  |  €38,000 - €42,000  

Our client is currently looking to recruit a Lawyer in the Development and Construction Law to join their team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the process of agreement and drafting of development and construction contracts. 
  • Assist in legal advisory services to clients following all forms of development. 
  • Liaising with various stakeholders for legal services both on a local and international basis. 
  • Directly liaise with architects, project managers, site offers and equivalent in conjunction with their duties. 
  • Handling both legal and practical queries in various projects. 
  • Assist in legal research.
  • Handle complex disputes in relation to construction. 

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience within a similar role
  • Knowledge in FIDIC suite of contracts and equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Maltese
  • A good knowledge in Microsoft Office Tools
  • Self motivated
  • Negotiation skills

Education & Experience

Doctorate in Law / Locally Warranted Lawyer
