Our client is currently looking to recruit a Lawyer in the Development and Construction Law to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the process of agreement and drafting of development and construction contracts.
- Assist in legal advisory services to clients following all forms of development.
- Liaising with various stakeholders for legal services both on a local and international basis.
- Directly liaise with architects, project managers, site offers and equivalent in conjunction with their duties.
- Handling both legal and practical queries in various projects.
- Assist in legal research.
- Handle complex disputes in relation to construction.
Skill-sets and Requirements
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience within a similar role
- Knowledge in FIDIC suite of contracts and equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Maltese
- A good knowledge in Microsoft Office Tools
- Self motivated
- Negotiation skills
Education & Experience
Doctorate in Law / Locally Warranted Lawyer
