Our client, a renowned law firm, is seeking to recruit a Junior Corporate Lawyer to join their Corporate team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Carrying out all aspects of company and trust administration for a portfolio of clients
- Preparing documents in relation to transactions, including minutes and resolutions
- Drafting and reviewing corporate governance documents
- Assisting in the formation and restructuring of legal structures
- Conducting legal research as required by the Company's needs
- Drafting and reviewing contracts
- Liaising with clients and other stakeholders
- Attending board meetings and drafting minutes
- Keeping abreast with new regulatory developments in relation to CSPs and Trustees, GDPR and other applicable regulatory obligations
- Any other duties which may be assigned by the Company
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Previous experience within a similar environment will be considered an asset
- Self motivated and ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Fluency both in English and Maltese
- Possess excellent communication skills, good eye for detail and highly organized
Education & Experience
Possession of a law degree and have a warrant to practice in Malta. Candidates who are still in the process of obtaining the warrant will also be considered
