Corporate and Securities Lawyer

A Corporate and Securities Lawyer vacancy is currently available with an advisory firm in Malta.

Responsibilities:

  •  Assisting clients across a broad range of industries with a variety of financing, business combination, and merger & acquisition transactions
  • Assisting issuers, underwriters, and selling shareholders in public and private debt and equity financings, initial public offerings, security token offerings and stock exchange listings.
  • Assisting with corporate governance requirements, continuous disclosure obligations, and general regulatory compliance matters
  • Assisting with M&A transactions, including take-over bids and corporate reorganizations
  • Any other duties that may be required for the smooth running of the department

Education & Experience:

  • You must be a qualified and Warranted lawyer in Malta, recognised locally
  • Be in possession of a Masters qualification in financial services or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years of corporate and securities experience locally

  • Organised and meticulous
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Hardworking with the ability to work on your own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills in English & Maltese
