Risk Manager (Insurance)


A Risk Manager position is currently available with a leading and reputable insurance agency,


  • Managing and leading the Risk department
  • Keeping abreast of all regulatory and risk requirements and inform the Board and all stakeholders as necessary
  • Liaising with the MFSA on all risk related matters
  • Assisting with the preparation of quarterly and annual regulatory reporting submissions
  • The preparation and analysis of risk registers and frameworks
  • Ensuring the development, maintenance, and implementation of risk policies and procedures
  • Monitoring of internal controls 
  • Providing internal training
  • Any other duties that may be required for the smooth running of the department

Education & Experience:

  • You must be in possession of a minimum MQF level 6 qualification in financial services, risk management, or equivalent
  • You must be in possession of a minimum of 4 years previous experience in a similar role locally
  • The successful candidate must be approved or in the process of being approved by the MFSA (PQ'd)


  • Proficient in Maltese and English
  • Proactive approach to work
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Organised and solution driven approach to work
