Insurance Broking Executive

Our client within the Insurance industry is looking for an Insurance Broking Executive to join their team. The chosen candidate will be acting as the intermediary between the client and insurer and addressing the client's needs accordingly

Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the administration and day-to-day running of the broking operations
• Building on existing relationships and working closely with underwriters and clients, both in Malta and overseas
• Assessing the needs and risks of clients and sourcing quotations from underwriters, both in Malta and overseas
• Dealing with new business, mid-term adjustments and renewal queries
• Handling and processing of claims notifications
• Processing payments and documentation
• Preparation, compilation, and analysis of performance reports
• Any other duties that may be assigned to you by your superiors

Skill-sets and Requirements

• At least 7 years of previous experience in insurance or not less than 2 years if in possession of a degree in a related field
• Knowledge in using MS Office applications
• Able to offer a high standard of service and professionalism
• Fluent in written and spoken Maltese and English

Education & Experience

Possession of the Associateship qualification from the Chartered Insurance Institute (A.C.I.I.) or a University degree in Insurance
