Insurance Brokers


An Insurance Broker position at different levels is currently available within the insurance industry.


  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients by understanding their needs and keeping close contact
  • Continuous review of clients' insurance programme and liaising with the claims department for any improvements that may be required
  • Liaising with local and foreign providers and ensuring that documentation received from suppliers is checked and sent to clients in a timely manner
  • Ensuring renewals are handled  and dealing with any client queries in an efficient and timely manner
  • Monitoring debtors and ensuring timely collection
  • Advising clients which best insurance cover to opt for whilst suggesting terms best suited for the needs of the client
  • Handling marine and aviation insurance claims
  • Any other duties that may be required for the smooth running of the department

Education & Experience:

  • You must have an insurance related qualification or actively be working towards obtaining it
  • A minimum of 2 years previous local experience in a similar position is a requirement


  • Well organised with the ability to prioritise
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and fluency in both Maltese and English
  • Mature, able to inspire confidence, meticulously disposed and goal oriented
  • Ethical and reliable individual
