Systems Administrator

Our client is recruiting for a Systems Administrator job opportunity in Malta in the Manufacturing industry. Responsibilities in this role include:

  • Providing first, and second line support to internal users for setting up and maintaining desktop PCs and network devices.
  • Proactively monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting systems, network and software issues.
  • Creating disaster recovery plans and backups.
  • Providing remote and onsite support for internal staff on a 24/7 availability.

 

Educations & Experience:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related subject
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a related role
  • Candidates in possession of CCNA qualification and/or MCSA will be highly regarded
  • Prior Experience with Hyper-V, VMware, SAN systems will be considered an asset

 

Desired Skills:

  • Highly organized team player and ability to work independently
  • Meticulous and attentive to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • A good command of the English Language
  • Driving Licence required
