PHP Developer (iGaming)

Malta

Our client is seeking to recruit for a PHP Developer vacancy in Malta. Working within the Development team, you will be responsible for improving and maintaining existing code, whilst writing new code according to requirements. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Liaising with respective departments to understand requirements
  • Improving and maintaining current code
  • Utilizing your expertise in providing solutions where necessary
  • Writing new and improved functionality 
  • Continuous monitoring and bug fixing of such code 
  • Documenting updates accordingly

 

Education & Experience:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science
  • Previous experience in a similar role (1-3 years)
  • Strong knowledge of PHP and ideally Laravel
  • Experience with MySQL and NoSQL
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript (VueJS, Jquery, Bootstrap) would be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Linux and experience with developing Rest API's
