Backend Developer (Java)

€30,000 - €35,000  |  Malta

Our client is seeking to recruit for a Java Developer position to join their team in Malta. You will be involved throughout the whole SDLC. Your main duties include:

  • Writing new and improved functionality
  • Ensure all design and development is in line with specific requirements
  • Create and maintain documentation regarding system functionality updates
  • Understanding and keeping up to performance indicators
  • Continuous monitoring and bug fixing of such code

Education & Experience:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in IT or equivalent
  • A minimum of  2 years experience in Java Development
  • Strong knowledge and previous experience of Java, SQL, Spring, RabbitMQ and RESTful web services
  • Exposure to other frameworks will be considered an asset
  • Experience with PHP will be considered as an asset

  • Be proactive and follow a pragmatic approach to your work
  • Strong understanding of the entire SDLC
  • Have excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent command of English
