Application Support Specialist

Malta

Our client is looking for junior candidates to fill the Application Support Specialist position in Malta. Providing client support on deploying and configuring systems, as an Application Support Analyst, your responsibilities will be as follows;

  • Identifying, troubleshooting and resolving both internal and external issues related to different applications
  • Manage client queries and keep a professional customer service image
  • Offering 1st line support and escalating and resolving cases promptly
  • Keep abreast with company activities, products and services so as to provide a professional and well-informed service to customers 
  • Prepare and maintain all the necessary documentation
  • Liaise with relevant third party suppliers or other departments

 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a relevant subject
  • Experience using Linux and Windows systems
  • Knowledgeable in SOAP and REST and of tools such as SOAPUI and Postman 
  • Well versed in databases such as SQL and MySQL
  • Experience in the payment industry or client service would be advantageous
