Training & Development Manager

Malta  |  up to €35,000 

A new position for a Training & Development Manager is available with an international company, offering health services. The company provides training services both to the various departments and business units within the organisation, as well as to external clients on a commercial basis

In this position you will focus on product development, management of the training team and the services provided by the training department as well as commercial growth of the training services provided to external clients.

You will be responsible:

  • To lead the growth of the training arm and position the Company
  • To stay abreast of the latest advancements and innovations in the Training & Development field globally
  • To support the Training Department team members in the development of high quality training material and programmes utilising a variety of media designed to future proof the Company’s internal and external resources
  • To identify market demands in order to ensure that the Company develops training solutions in response to the evolving needs of the market.
  • To identify, vet, engage and manage consultants for development and delivery of courses.
  • To lead the development of a Faculty of Educators.

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Strong planning, prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, knowledge of Arabic/Portuguese/French/Spanish is an asset
  • Highly developed report writing skills and writing for education
  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft office; Word, Excel and presentation programmes

Education & Experience

  • Prior experience of working in a commercial environment is a must
  • Degree in Training Management or related area
  • Minimum three years prior experience working in a management position in training and development role
