Payroll Officer

Malta  |  €20,000 - €24,000 

One of our clients is looking for a Payroll officer to join their diverse team of individuals. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Preparing monthly wages and payroll reports 
  • Processing and updating any amendments to the payroll 
  • Inputting and checking of data in the payroll software
  • Assisting team members to any wage related queries
  • Submitting the necessary reports with the Inland Revenue Department
  • Supporting the Head of Department as required

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • A minimum two years local experience within a similar role is a must
  • Have a good knowledge of the payroll procedures and related policies
  • Possess the knowledge of basic accounting
  • Previous experience within any payroll software will be considered an asset
  • Be an excellent team player with a good eye for detail

Education & Experience

Minimum A level of education is required
