Our client in the insurance industry is seeking to hire a Payroll Officer on a part time basis. The role is primarily remote, with approximately 90% of the work conducted off-site, requiring office visits only for specific meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage payroll operations efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure compliance with Maltese employment laws, regulations, and payroll guidelines.
- Maintain and update payroll records in the Shireburn Indigo system.
- Generate payroll reports and ensure timely salary payments.
- Handle employee payroll queries with professionalism and discretion.
- Assist in tax and social security contributions compliance.
- Support internal and external audits related to payroll.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Shireburn Indigo payroll software.
- In-depth understanding of Maltese employment laws and payroll regulations
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar payroll role
