Payroll / HR Administrator

€24,000 - €26,000  |  Malta

In this role of a Payroll/ HR Administrator you will report directly to the HR Manager and be responsible for:-


  • You will Coordinate HR-related processes in a timely manner
  • Handle of all employment engagement and termination formalities together with other formalities as required by different entities such as ETC, MGA etc
  • Assisting new employees with assimilation, completing ETC and payroll forms
  • Assisting with obtaining work permits for non-EU staff
  • Updating & maintaining and be responsible for the HR Software with employee records
  • Keep employee leave and sick leave records through Bamboo
  • Maintain employee information and HR data in an orderly manner
  • Be responsible for, input and manage the payroll process for the Malta office, UK and DK
  • Update payroll records, entering new employees, salary changes, tax status changes, etc.
  • Assist the HR Manager with other ad hoc duties as required
  • Be an active team player

Skills & Experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience working in payroll is a must
  • Previous experience of working in an international environment is highly desirable
  • Experience using Dakar Payroll Software would be an advantage although training will be provided
  • A good understanding of Income Tax computation and social security benefits
  • Be service oriented attitude with excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Great attention to detail and highly organized, proactive individual, capable of working on his/her own initiative
  • Currently living in Malta
