Payroll Coordinator

€25,000 - €30,000  |  Malta

A well-established company in Malta dealing with numerous international clients is looking to recruit a Payroll Coordinator to join their dynamic team.


  • Maintain a portfolio of Payroll clients 
  • Review payroll reports before transactions to ensure correctness
  • Ensure client payroll is in accordance with internal procedures and in compliance with relevant laws
  • Monitor payroll checklist to ensure client's payroll and FS5 documents are submitted in time
  • Manage Payroll team and recruit if necessary
  • Contributing to team efforts and motivate employees when accomplishing duties
  • Assist employees with questions or complaints about salaries and payments
  • Monitor team performance 
  • Provide training to new recruits and update current employees on any recent developments

Education and Experience:

  • A degree in a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of previous local experience within Payroll or HR
  • Knowledge of employment laws
  • Knowledge of Sage  
  • Excellent communication skills in both Maltese and English
