Organizational Development Manager

  South of Malta

Our client, a Group within the aviation industry, is looking to recruit a Organizational Development Manager to join their growing team. The chosen candidate will:

  • Build, design and deliver OD strategies, initiatives, processes, programs and action plans such as Managerial Development, Key Talent, Performance Management, culture building, Feedback Process, Employee Engagement and OKRs methodology implementation, which foster a high- performance culture and are based on group’s vision & values. 
  • Identify needs and build programs accordingly, such as: units’ leadership, team building and change management.
  • Oversee OD budget.
  • Assist in the development of career growth programs, mentorship and development opportunities for all levels of employees.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple interfaces like HR managers, depts managers and external providers on the creation of development programs and content.
  • Set OD goals and KPIs and measure effectiveness.
  • Deliver research, analysis and best practice to ensure that organizational development initiatives are appropriately integrated and aligned with strategic and business goals.
  • Assess organizational training needs and design comprehensive learning and development programs to address skills gaps and enhance employee performance.
  • Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and seminars in areas such as leadership, communication, team building, and employee engagement.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, assessments, and performance metrics, and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Partner with department heads and subject matter experts to create customized training solutions that meet specific business needs.
  • Oversee the development of e-learning platforms and blended learning strategies to ensure accessible and effective training delivery.
  • Develop and manage internal communications strategies to ensure consistent, clear, and timely communication across the organization.
  • Collaborate with leadership to craft messages that support the company’s strategic goals and initiatives, including organizational change and employee engagement programs.
  • Create and maintain internal communication channels such as newsletters, intranet content, and internal announcements to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Support leadership in communicating key organizational messages, ensuring alignment with the company’s values and culture.
  • Facilitate open communication across teams to promote collaboration, transparency, and a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of theory and good practice in key areas: Organization development particularly around change management and developing organizational culture Learning & Development, particularly management development and talent management.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to work with many stakeholders in a high pace environment.
  • Curious, fast learner with attention to details.
  • Strong knowledge of training methodologies and best practices in adult learning.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organisational Development or a related field.
  • Working experience of at least 5 years as an OD specialist/partner or as an HR with an OD focus.
  • Track record in designing and executing successful OD programs.
  • Experience in working in a dynamic, constantly changing environment.
  • Experience with HR/OD systems like Engagement Survey/feedback platforms, feedback systems, LMS.
  • Fluent English (verbal and written).
