Learning and Development Manager

Our client, an organization offering a wide range of products and services is currently seeking to recruit a Learning and Development Manager. Your responsibilities will include: 

• Liaising with Head of Departments to identify training needs and desired learning outcomes to ensure knowledge is imparted
• Developing programs and implementing recommendations aligned with business goals, performance management and learning & development
• Leading the training team in the design, development and delivery of learning content that supports all the in-house training programs
• Developing and supervising processes related to coaching, train-the-trainer, mentoring, and online training content
• Facilitating the process of identifying leaders for the future, provide guidance for assessing potential talent, and recommend development actions at all levels of the organisation
• Designing and facilitating core training programs that drive talent management, succession planning, leadership, and employee development initiatives
• Evaluating the effectiveness of training and evaluate training statistics and reports
• Working hand in hand with other stakeholders to ensure equality, diversity, and inclusion of the workforce

• Exceptional communication in English, both written and spoken
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Strong presentation and creative design skills
• Energetic and motivated with the ability to drive self and others to achieve
• Ability to analyse skills, competencies, and training needs
• Must be a people's person and have a passion for employee development

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR & Training or related field
• Three years of learning & development experience locally
• Experience managing a team
• Experience using graphic design tools to create content will be an asset
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to quickly learn how to use new platforms and programs
