Knowledge and Learning Leader

Our client, a leading and well established company within the international aviation industry, is recruiting for a Knowledge and Learning leader to form part of their Global HR Team. Here, you will be responsible for the design, leading and execution of learning and development strategies, programs, and initiatives. Reporting to the Group Head of HR, your duties will include;

  • Leading Global Learning & Knowledge Tutorials, Tools, Platforms, Processes and Procedures.
  • Identifying employees’ personal and professional skills, capabilities, and competencies gaps in the organization, and create plans to fill in these gaps.
  • Conducting needs analysis for teams and professional groups within the organization. Defining knowledge management and learning strategy in organizations.
  • Creating yearly training programs based on group’s needs.
  • Creating strategic programs and work processes for retaining Knowledge.
  • Writing, building, Develop and designing trainings materials.
  • Assessing and implementing platforms/systems/digital tools to host learning experiences through the employee’s life cycle
  • Defining and Monitoring Objectives, KPIS and measurements.
  • Creating personalized development programs for the specific needs of teams and managers, in collaboration with global HR Team to achieve OD objectives.
  • Designing work processes and technological solutions.
  • Implementing and managing the group LMS.
  • Building strong and trusted relationships, working closely with SMEs, managers and teams at different levels.
  • Ensuring quality and satisfaction of our learning experiences by monitoring, measuring, and assessing the progress and impact of the different programs, projects, and initiatives, and collect feedback to determine areas for improvement
  • Delivering and facilitating learning sessions for various groups on-site or virtually.

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Technological orientation.
  • Strong familiarity and hands-on experience with learning methods, practices, tools, and platforms.
  • Ability to build strong and trusted relationships with SMEs, employees, vendors, and facilitators
  • Incredible communication, and presentation skills
  • Creative approach and excellent ability to convey visual messages through the construction of presentations and other tools
  • Enthusiastic, resourceful, problem-solver, highly analytical, and independent yet a team player
  • Excellent English fluency - verbal and written
  • Based in Malta

Education & Experience

  • 2 years’ experience leading Knowledge & Learning programs in a fast- paced environment. Experience from global companies is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering / Systems Analysis / Organizational Development / HR/ Information Science / Knowledge Management / Learning Technologies
