Our client is looking to onboard a Human Resources Manager to lead and manage the full spectrum of Human Resources functions in a standalone capacity. This role is responsible for delivering end-to-end HR support across the organization, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, work permits, employee registrations, policy implementation, and day-to-day HR operations.
As the sole HR professional, the successful candidate must be proactive, self-driven, highly organized, and capable of operating both strategically and operationally.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all HR functions across the employee lifecycle
Serve as the primary HR contact for all employee inquiries, address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters
Foster a positive workplace culture and employee engagement
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulatory requirements
Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation
Advise management on HR best practices and workforce planning
Manage the full recruitment cycle: workforce planning, job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection
Coordinate end-to-end onboarding processes, employment contracts and offer letters
Oversee resignation processes, exit interviews, and final settlements
Manage work permit applications, employee registrations, renewals, cancellations, and compliance
Implement and manage performance appraisal processes, while identifying training and development needs
Manage leave records, attendance tracking, and benefits administration to support payroll coordination
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of HR experience in a standalone/leading position, preferably within the Catering/Hospitality/Retail industry
Strong knowledge of local labour laws, employment regulations and work permit applications
Proven experience handling recruitment, employee relations and disciplinary actions
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision with integrity and confidentiality
A strategic and hands-on mindset with a pro-active attitude to set up a complete HR function
