Human Resources Manager

Malta

This Human Resources Manager position is with a Group of Companies and the successful person will be accountable to ensure a smooth flow of the HR operations on a daily basis, while also contributing at strategic level.  Main duties are as follows:

  • Plan, develop and implement a strategy for HR management and development
  • Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of HR development
  • Monitor, measure and report on HR issues at top level
  • Heavily involved in recruitment at all levels including work permits
  • Focus on the well being of the staff
  • Monitor monthly preparation of wages and salaries
  • Analyse salaries within the market and determine a competitive compensation plan
  • Manage and develop direct reporting staff
  • Liaise closely with the Management Team to ensure the right awareness and support is provided for all team members
  • Organise team building activities and other relevant events
  • Manage and control department budgets
     

Education and Experience

  • Degree in Human Resources is a must
  • Minimum 5 years experience within an HR management position
  • Strong on selection and recruitment processes
  • Good knowledge of the Maltese employment law
  • Proficient in both Maltese and English
  • IT Savvy
