This Human Resources Manager position is with a Group of Companies and the successful person will be accountable to ensure a smooth flow of the HR operations on a daily basis, while also contributing at strategic level. Main duties are as follows:
- Plan, develop and implement a strategy for HR management and development
- Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of HR development
- Monitor, measure and report on HR issues at top level
- Heavily involved in recruitment at all levels including work permits
- Focus on the well being of the staff
- Monitor monthly preparation of wages and salaries
- Analyse salaries within the market and determine a competitive compensation plan
- Manage and develop direct reporting staff
- Liaise closely with the Management Team to ensure the right awareness and support is provided for all team members
- Organise team building activities and other relevant events
- Manage and control department budgets
Education and Experience
- Degree in Human Resources is a must
- Minimum 5 years experience within an HR management position
- Strong on selection and recruitment processes
- Good knowledge of the Maltese employment law
- Proficient in both Maltese and English
- IT Savvy
