Human Resources Manager

Within this Human Resources Manager position you will be involved in the overall management of the centralised HR functions of one of the leading automotive companies in Malta.  Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting departmental managers with employee relations matters

  • Implementing policies and procedures, updating official company documents and revising the employee handbook

  • Negotiating with Unions in relation to the Collective Agreement and other ad hoc matters

  • Monitoring, measuring and updating the Performance Management system to promote career development within the company

  • Leading the recruitment and selection process

Education and Experience

The vacancy requires:

  • Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent

  • A minimum 3-5 years HR Management experience

  • Working knowledge of Maltese Legislation and Employment Law

  • Experience working within a unionised environment

  • Excellent skills in both written and spoken English and Maltese

  • Knowledge of the Dakar payroll system will be considered an asset


  • Excellent communication skills to deal effectively with employees at all levels

  • Strong leadership skills to help with achieving the vision of the organisation
