Human Resources Business Partner

Our client who specialises in the hospitality industry is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner. While reporting to the COO, your roles and responsibilities will include: 

  • Support COO through organizational changes, such as restructures. Develop change management plans and provide guidance and support to employees throughout the change process.
  • Collaborate with the COO to identify HR‐related opportunities and challenges and develop HR strategies that support business goals
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on various HR‐related issues, such as performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee engagement. 
  • Work with COO to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies that attract and retain top talent. Conduct interviews, provide input on hiring decisions and manage the application of visas 
  • Identify training and development needs, develop and deliver training programs, and support employee career development
  • Analyze market data and internal data to develop and implement competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations, whilst developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance
  • Manage and contribute to HR projects and initiatives as required. Develop project plans, lead project teams, and ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
  • Manage day‐to‐day HR operations, including employee data management, payroll administration, and employee file management. Ensure HR processes are efficient and effective.

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Maltese communication skills are a must
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations

Education & Experience

Qualification in Human Resources or a related field
