Human Resources Business Partner

Malta  |  €35,000 - €40,000 

Our client who operate in the healthcare system is looking to employ a Human Resources Business Partner. As the HRBP you will be: 

  • Developing and promoting HR policies and procedures through a proactive approach with internal officials
  • Collaborating effectively with other HRBPs to align specific Human Resources SOPs
  • Ensuring that defined KPIs are met on schedule while providing exceptional customer service, operational efficacy, and efficiency to project a professional image of the HR Function
  • Serving as a resource for managers regarding the full spectrum of HR tasks and spotting possibilities for advancement
  • Managing the workforce and overseeing all HR operations will guarantee high-quality service
  • Directing the hiring process for new employees, which includes creating job descriptions, sending out internal calls, and holding interviews and in conjunction this entails coordinating with employment organisations and serving as a reference
  • Leading the preparation of the internal plan whilst collaborating with relevant parties and all HODs
  • Monitoring the resource plan and identifying issues and ensuring any remedial action is implemented
  • Providing support with payroll process and matters whilst ensuring that all necessary training is provided to all employees
  • Developing a good understanding of the HR related GDPR requirements and assist the Director of HR in ensuring compliance throughout the hospital 
  • Overseeing any grievance and other disciplinary procedures and drafting disciplinary letters as necessary
  • Supporting the Director of HR in the efficient and effective day-to-day management of the HR Department
  • Being accountable for their team's human resources management, which includes performance management and staff training and development
  • Gaining a thorough understanding of the GDPR regulations for HR and helping the Head of HR to ensure compliance 
  • Keeping up with relevant modification to standards, best practices and relevant laws
  • Performing any additional tasks that may occasionally be given by senior management in accordance with the needs of the service

Education & Experience

  • MQF Level 6 or higher in Human Resources, Business, Administration, Management, Social Science, Psychology or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a corporate environment implementing human resources management principles and policies
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Maltese (verbally and written)
  • 5 years minimum of previous experience in a similar position
  • Experience in a supervisory position or leading teams
