Human Resources Business Partner

We have a Human Resources Business Partner Role within one of the leading manufacturing companies in Malta. Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Leading the HR Function of a specific business unit
• Administer talent programmes intended to build a team of A-players
• Implementing training and development plans
• Planning performance review sessions
• Developing programmes to strengthen the culture and improve the employee experience
• Updating employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
• Maintaining organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records
• Forecasting hiring needs and ensures the recruitment process runs smoothly
• Developing and implement HR policies throughout the organization
• Monitoring budgets by department
• Processing employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner, be a bridge to support people
• Staying up-to-date and comply with changes in labour legislation

Skill-sets and Requirements

• Excellent Communication skills in English
• Knowledge of HRIS Systems such as BambooHR
• Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
• Good problem-solving abilities
• Team management skills

Education & Experience

• Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related field
• Previous HR Experience within a similar role with local manufacturing experience
• Experience with Unions
• Local Employment Law Experience
