HR & Payroll Manager

€25,000 - €28,000  |  Malta

Our client, a well-established and reputable gaming company on the island, are seeking to recruit an HR & Payroll Manager.


  • Creating and implementing HR policies and procedures, updating official company documents and revising the employee handbook
  • Coordinating performance appraisals, employee engagement and retention, compensation and benefits, career development and employee relations;
  • Responding to inquiries regarding staff policies and procedures;
  • Supporting Managers on HR matters, including advice and guidance to employees
  • Assisting in the recruitment process and updating job descriptions as necessary
  • Planning and conducting new employee induction sessions
  • Reviewing salaries/wages payroll reports prepared by payroll officers prior to issuing of payments;
  • Identifying the company’s training and development needs and developing necessary programmes and activities
  • Performing other duties which may be assigned from time to time;

Education and Experience

  • Degree in Human Resources Management or related field is a must
  • A minimum 5 years HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of Maltese Legislation and Employment Law
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Maltese
  • Fluency in Italian will be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of HRM Systems and HR Metrics
